Judging from my last post you can see we took a very long hiatus from Pivotal Concepts in 2013. Many things changed for me. I met a guy, we got engaged, moved in together, started www.passiondiamonds.ca, got a dog, got married, moved again and then we had a baby! Flash forward and here we are in 2017 with much to be thankful for. We're madly in love with our daughter who is now 15 months old. Our Goldendoodle is still sweet and fun at 4 years of age and a great big fur sister. The diamond business is doing well and I'm still dabbling in design and marketing as a favour to friends and family. So, if you're in need of professional design and web service, and it's a project that aligns with my values and making the world a better place, give me a call and I'll help you out.
Wishing you all a very happy, healthy and prosperous 2017!
We've been very busy here over at the Pivotal Studio. Did you know that beyond doing doing awesome content management websites we are also consistently working on the following:
Coordinating GROUPON deals for our clients - we're about to launch a deal for medical aesthetic treatments.
Creating awesome POWERPOINT Presentations - we just finished a presentation for Royal Bank employees.
Grand openings, events and fundraiser coordination - we're about to do a grand opening for a medical clinic.
Strategizing and coordinating on-site video recordings - we're about to facilitate an instructional yoga video.
Custom branded Intranet (internal) client sites for larger corporations - we're about to launch a site for retailers.
Elevator Ads - the printed ones you see day in and day out in the elevator - we signed 3 contracts for July!
Printing marketing materials and beyond - we can handle anything that needs to be printed - even major signage.

Pivotal Concepts is very proud to re-launch www.sandykayart.com — a wonderful client we've had the pleasure of working with for many years. Sandy Kay specializes in West Coast and Contemporary Art in Acrylic, Water and Oil based mediums. The new website on the Pivotal CMS platform is better organized with Sandy's new work, events and demonstrations. Check out her event page for a FREE demonstration at Opus on Granville Island in November, 2012.
Here's what Sandy had to say about working with Christina at Pivotal:
"I have recently relocated to Halfmoon Bay from Vancouver and no longer have a retail location. Christina has overseen the changes to my marketing strategy and is now involved with the reconstruction of an updated site and a target of online marketing. I am certain my site and marketing will be successful with her continued involvement.
I was so pleased with her approach and knowledge that my husband and I also contracted with her to create the website for our business, Canadian Alliance Terminals Inc. We have had many positive comments on our site from our customers and vendors and are very pleased with it as well.
I would highly recommend Christina Szokendi and Pivotal Concepts for any project you may be considering. Her heartfelt involvement in all of her endeavours matches her complete commitment and dependability.
Jim and I are honoured to have worked with Christina, and I will continue to use her services for my site, marketing and promotion of my artwork."
Pivotal is pleased to have successfully rebranded and relaunched Write City Inc.- a community of thinkers, writers, and educators dedicated to the improvement of reading, writing and critical thinking skills of students. They provide a wide range of tutoring and mentoring services to help students of all levels excel in their reading, writing and critical thinking skills.
We created the new logo, signage, brochure, postcard with detachable business card as well as the new www.writecity.cawebsite which was built on the Pivotal CMS. All the work was completed within three weeks - just in time for their sponsored event in Toronto earlier this month. Within the first week, Write City signed up 12 new clients to date and they will be expanding their services to the Vancouver market.
